OUR STORY
THE BRAND
Professional Tap Dancer Karen Callaway Williams started to make shoe bags for her tap dance students in bright fun colors and tempting cartoon characters in soft flannel fabric because every once in a while a student would leave a dance shoe in the car or at home. She wanted to motivate her students to be responsible for their shoes.

The idea caught on. “I made a butterfly shoe bag (one shoe in each slot) and a shoe sack (both shoes in the same slot) that so that they would not forget their shoes and they could hang the bag on the front door by the drawstring.”

“One little girl requested Eeyore (the blue mule form Winnie the Pooh), but I couldn’t find it in flannel. So I found the pattern in regular material and lined it in flannel and so the lined bags were born.”
“I started to find better quality fabrics for adults and line them in flannel like high-end shoes come with a flannel shoe bag.”
Enjoy your fashionable shoe bag knowing that your shoes are protected and you don’t have to carry them in your hand. If you wear your shoes to church, a funeral or special occasion, you can have your flats or more comfortable shoes discreetly close by.
The bag obviously can be used for other things, and whatever you carry in it will be well taken care of.
